We all enjoy a good story, whether it’s a novel, a movie or simply the description of an experience shared by a friend. Stories put our whole brain to work, not just parts of it. We feel more engaged when hearing narratives and we remember them more. What gets remembered becomes top of mind.

Stories create buzz. The more buzz about a product, brand or service, the more awareness there is about it. And the more awareness there is, the higher the probability of being in that top-of-mind position. Your organisation’s key stakeholders are making choices, preferences and buying decisions every day. Very often, these decisions are made as a result of what comes to mind first.

This highly practical and fun workshop will cover different narrative patterns and explore what makes a good story great. You will also have the opportunity to write your own stories to support your brand and organisational messages.Through feedback, video examples and exercises you will learn how to craft a story and deliver it in a compelling and credible way.

You will also learn how to include a good story as part of a speech or other written document – an invaluable tool for anyone whose job entails writing, editing or reporting.

This workshop is for anyone in an influencing role who has to give presentations as part of his/her job. It will be particularly useful for those in fundraising, marketing, business development, PR and general management.
