This Event management training course looks at the power of events to build your organisation and promote its aims. You will explore the planning process, going step by step through the different elements, along the way creating an effective timeline. You will look at how to get people to attend the event and how to manage the delegate process. You will look at finding the best venues, facilities, catering and treats. You will also learn how to evaluate your event, so that each time you are able to build on your success.

This will be an enjoyable and participatory training day led by an experienced event manager. You will do a variety of exercises that will stretch your understanding of event management with a toolkit to take away.

This introduction to event management course is aimed at those with little or no existing experience in organising and managing events.

This course is aimed at those looking for a beginner or introductory level event management course. If you have some experience in managing events, take a look at Event management: intermediate which is aimed at those with some experience who want to build on their existing skills.

Our Minutes training will help you ensure that you get a good record of the event meetings; Project management will add to your skills in scheduling and evaluating events and projects. Finance skills for non financial managers will help you with the financial side of event management.
