Marketing Executive

Salary Banding: £28,500 – £32,000

Location: Itec House

Contract type: Full-time, permanent.

Working hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m.–4.30 p.m.

This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute compelling email campaigns, segment email lists, analyse performance, and ensure best practices.
  • Design: Collaborate on creating visually appealing marketing materials, maintain brand consistency, and develop creative concepts.
  • Website Management: Oversee website updates, optimise for SEO, monitor performance, and manage content.
  • Social Media Management: Increase engagement, growth, and development across platforms, create captivating content, and analyse strategy needs.
  • Content Creation: Write blogs, feature articles, email campaigns, press releases, and award nominations. Promote good news stories.
  • Operational Support: Assist in developing growth objectives, plan events, and support internal communications.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report on marketing effectiveness, provide insights, and optimise strategies for improved ROI.

What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?

Essential

  • Marketing qualification or equivalent
  • Graphic design qualification
  • Proven experience in email marketing
  • Proven marketing & PR experience
  • Experience of developing video content
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle

Desirable

  • Experience of working with influencers
  • Existing social media influencer contacts
  • Existing press and media contact
  • Project management qualification or equivalent
  • Speaking Welsh is desirable.
