Administrator – Speech & Language Therapy

To work with Speech and Language Adult and Paeds admin departments in the smooth running of daily admin tasks to support in the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive and efficient administration and support service.
- Make up SLT files for patient notes.
- Carry out general filing and appropriate disposal of confidential documents.
- Collect and deliver post to/from post room.
- File discharged notes in correct locations.
- Pull patient paper notes for clinic.
- Check information on the Health Board’s electronic patient system – WPAS.
- Type reports and other basic typing.
- Understand and follow the department processes and procedures where applicable.
- Answer phone calls as appropriate.
- Send out letters to patients.
- Review and maintain stock levels of administrative resources.
- Collect letters from the printer and envelope them ready for posting.
- Print, organise and prepare packs for service delivery.
