Administrator – Speech & Language Therapy

To work with Speech and Language Adult and Paeds admin departments in the smooth running of daily admin tasks to support in the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive and efficient administration and support service.

  • Make up SLT files for patient notes.
  • Carry out general filing and appropriate disposal of confidential documents.
  • Collect and deliver post to/from post room.
  • File discharged notes in correct locations.
  • Pull patient paper notes for clinic.
  • Check information on the Health Board’s electronic patient system – WPAS.
  • Type reports and other basic typing.
  • Understand and follow the department processes and procedures where applicable.
  • Answer phone calls as appropriate.
  • Send out letters to patients.
  • Review and maintain stock levels of administrative resources.
  • Collect letters from the printer and envelope them ready for posting.
  • Print, organise and prepare packs for service delivery.
