Employee Owned and Independent
In February 2019, we proudly became an employee owned company; the first independent training provider in Wales to take this step. As a result, 100% of our business is now owned by our people, placing our employees at the heart of everything we do and ensuring Itec’s independence for generations to come.

A Leading Learning Provider
Today, Itec stands as one of the largest and most diverse work-based learning providers in the UK.
- In Wales, we deliver Apprenticeships and Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) through Welsh Government contracts.
- Meanwhile, in England, we hold ESFA contracts to deliver Apprenticeships.
This reach allows us to support learners and employers across multiple sectors, ensuring opportunities for growth wherever they are needed.
Growth and Expansion
To build on our strong foundation, we acquired The Centre for Strategy and Communication in 2014. This strategic move allowed us to diversify into commercial training for individuals and employers across the UK and worldwide.
Then, in 2021, we took another step forward by bringing our businesses together under the Itec brand. By aligning our services, we strengthened our identity and created a more unified platform to deliver even greater value and impact.
